Registration Information for 2007-2008

General Registration Information

Registration for September 2007 began on Monday, February 5, 2007.

 

 

New Students - All students entering PK3, PK4, or Kindergarten in September 2007

We know how important choosing a school for your child can be, and we want you both to be happy with your decision to attend our school.  Please feel free to stop by the school for a tour, or visit on one of our Open House days.  Meet the principal and the teachers.

Students entering PK3, PK4, or Kindergarten must be 3-, 4-, or 5-years old, respectively, on or before September 30, 2007.

What you need at the time of registration:

  • Child's Birth Certificate

  • Child's Baptismal Certificate (if applicable)

  • Child's Immunization Card

  • Registration Fee.

  • Completed registration forms (available in the school office or download at right)

Students currently enrolled in PK3 or PK4 must submit all new registration paperwork for September 2007.

Forms required for Registration for students entering Pre-Kindergarten or Kindergarten.

Transfer Students - Students entering any Grade 1 through 8 in September 2007, transferring from another school.

We invite transfer students to spend a day at Mount Carmel to see how well our program fits you.  Call for an appointment to visit the school, meet the principal, and arrange to spend a day and experience the Mount Carmel Difference.

It is our policy for all transfer students to meet with the school principal to discuss the reason/circumstances of the transfer.  Please be prepared with a copy of the child's most recent report card and standardized test results.

What you need at the time of registration:

  • Copy of Student's most recent report card and standardized test results
  • Copy of Student's Immunization Card
  • Transfer Card (from student's current school or local Board of Education)
  • Child's Baptismal Certificate (if applicable)
  • Registration Fee

Current Students - Students currently enrolled in Kindergarten through Grade 7 at Mount Carmel School.

All students currently enrolled at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School must re-register for the 2007 - 2008 academic year.  Why re-register?  Re-registration guarantees you a place in our enrollment for September. A fairly accurate enrollment count helps us plan our budget for next year, order sufficient books and supplies, and hire and/or redistribute teachers as necessary.  Re-registration also guarantees that your tuition payment book and summer reading assignment will be sent to you in a timely manner.

The non-refundable Re-registration Fee for current students is $150.00 for the first child, and $50.00 for each additional child.  Current students who re-register after March 31st will incur a Late Registration Fee of $100.00.
